The Relationship Between Muscle Mass and Strength

We don't actually know what is resulting in these increases in strength. But when we look at long-term associations, they do seem to be related. A 1RM strength score is probably not gonna be that reflective after the very early stages of your muscle mass. And I think we're not giving enough respect to motor skill learning in a power lifter who's moving from a 550 to a 570 deadlift after 10 years of training or something like that.
