The Fall of Satan and the Fall of Adam and Eve

Adam and Eve fail to stop Satan entering the garden, but God absolves them of any guilt as he allowed this to happen. He tells them that he will send his son down to the earth to punish the sinners. Sin vows to corrupt the minds of humankind, and death will infect all living things causing them to die. In Book 12, Michael discusses the future of mankind after the Flood. Adam is relieved to know that despite these acts of sin, there will always be redemption.
