Is This a Permanent Reversal of American Support for Free Trade?
I don't get the sense this is a permanent reversal of american support for free trade. The two thousand 16 elections shocked the democrats and sort of wall street and business oriented republicans, because t p p was such a huge factor in the midwest. And so it feels a little bit like this is temporary, and something new, some new equalibrium is possible on trade.
