The Fear of Everything Pervaded My Life

At 16 years old Ina was a scared kid, and her behaviour reflected it. She would look for bulges coming out of people's jackets to see if they were carrying guns. This fear pervaded every single other aspect of her life. And she fully recognized it at the time. But no matter what i did, i couldn't stop. These patterns of thought, of being scared of everything all the time, were so deeply ingrained in my mind that merely being conscious of how pointless it all was really didn't do anything.
