The Disconnect Between What the Kids Are Experiencing and What Their Parents Realize

Julian Zelizer: There is this fundamental disconnect, personally, I don't really use TikTok, I find it gives me a migraine to be honest. A lot of parents just have no idea about the information ecosystem their kids are immersed in. An entire generation of kids raised on those who have a phenomenally distorted view of themselves, their bodies and their relationships to others within society. That's why we're really, really focusing hard on this as an issue right now.
