The Evolution of the R Word
There's nothing inherently bad about the word obesity. Nearly everybody in the world of medical science describes people with very high levels of adiposity as being obese. Intellectually disabled is probably too long and too hard to say to ever be used as an insult, so it's probably safe from perjuration for the time being. Such is the nature of language. It constantly evolves whether you want it to or not.
