CHAPTER

The Evolution of Subjectivity

I think the humanities is probably dead. We are not helping people to, people will be unable to experience subjectivity and existence in the way that they should because of these measures that have been taken. It's like Roger Scruton used to talk about how you couldn't appreciate classical music,. They don't understand what they're missing because it just isn't there for them. I feel very sad about that. And that's why I think it should be a priority. The magic about the woke standpoint is that it denies itself access to the very experiences and books and human possibilities that would awaken a deeper subjectivity.
