The Origins of Dungeons and Dragons

This is one of the first really great Dungeons and Dragons movies without actually being branded Dungeons and Dragons because he does have a full adventuring party of characters of different classes. Conan the Destroyer feels like you are going through different parts of a module like different adventures as if you had Richard Fleischer acting as the dungeon master while he was directing it. I love that it's so cool D&D was at the height of its powers in 83 to 85 in terms of penetrating into the public consciousness but when you watch it now on an HDTV you're like oh man those monsters look bad yeah. You know the big monster apparently at the end is Andre the Giant and rubber suit shut up reallyYeah
