Joseph Smith's Translation of the Book of Abraham in Two Different Time Frames
Most scholars now date the book of Abraham in two distinct time frames. In 1836, Joseph Smith began taking lessons on Hebrew from Joshua Sacious. It was then in early 1842 that Hebrew visited the Abraham translation and picked up where he left off. And so these are all fingerprints as to who's the author behind these texts.
