There's this perception that young people are lazy, but i don't think we're any lazier than any person that's come before us. I think what disincentivizes people from working is that what you put in and what you get out doesn't match. It's one thing to work hard for eight hours a day; it's another thing to not even be able to support yourself or support family. That's the crux of the problem. And so this leads to despair. So let's try to understand like, how we got here? How we can run out of energy and then do things that we can actually control - which is really important.
