The Story of Dabbysir

Dabbysir was a slave in Syria before becoming a camel trader. He learned the trade of his father, the making of saddles and took to himself a wife. Dabbysir's life became miserable when he couldn't pay for luxuries like fine raiment. His wife returned to her father and he decided to seek another city where there might be better chances.
