The Microbiome Is a Complex Complex
20 years ago, basically there was nothing about the microbium in the scientific literature. It's almost as if we suddenly discovered we had a liver. Microbes are like a tool box to deal with all sorts of things that we can't deal with ourselves. These bacteria can change in 30 minutes. Relative proportions of bacteria can change dramatically based upon the food that we and so it gives you this sort of flexibility. You and i share 99 point nine percent of the same d an a. Our microbium is going to be at most 25 % the same. That's amazing, right? Our microbiam is so different.
