The Thirty Years War and the English Civil War
The fifth monarchists were the most apocalyptic minded of the that revolutionary generation. They wanted to bring about Christ's return and looked at Oliver Cromwell as Moses who was going to bring them to the promised land but then his government failed over and over again to create any sort of stable legislative machinery they became disillusioned with him. The English Civil War happens around it's it's concomitant with the Thirty Years War which starts in its third century or third decade until after the Treaty of Westphalia.
