There is a many associations between shift work and poor health. You don't necessarily have to you'll get worse or get sick. There are certain strategies that shift workers can put to use, such as catching up on sleep. Using judicious naps can be realy helpful too. And i think a nap of just ten o 20 minutes can be hugely restorative in terms of things like your ability to learn you information.
