The Valley of the Mad

The story of mish is more than a thousand years old. It's why the mountains are called shlev mish in dingle. The valley that is called glonne gelt, the valley of the mad. In mediaeval times, people with mental illnesses would goo there and live wild. They felt that it gave them solace. And this is something that's consistently present throughout irish history.
