The Trump Design of the Border Wall

Under Title 42, people who do not fit within nationalities are expelled to Mexico. They are often driven by busts to the nearest port of entry and told to walk back to Mexico without their luggage or other belongings. In 2020, the Border Patrol found 247 dead bodies along the border. This is unlikely to represent the full human toll of border enforcement. But it gives some kind of point of comparison for the 2021 number after a year of Title 42.
