Movie pass, as you may remember, let users pay a flat rate between forty and 50 bucks a month to watch unlimited movies in theatres. The company would buy tickets at retail price, and the hope was that once membership grew, major cinnema chains would give movie past discounts or a cut of concession stand revenue. But well, that never happened. Movie pass was losing money with every ticket it sold, and eventually it ran itself into the ground. Next week, movie pass is officially re launching.
