Netflix was a CD delivery business delivering movies through the mail and delivering them back. What changed is technology moved faster in a dial-up modem that would take forever to download a movie, changed and you could stream a movie. And that change changed everything. So again, what the executives at Blockbuster, just like the people that are running the Federal Reserve, just like your elected leaders all over the world, they were missing how fast technology was moving.
