The Liberalisation of Immigration After Referendum
Post-referendum, public opinion on immigration has liberalised quite spectacularly. This is because the destination for these immigrants is different and so it has less of an immediate impact on public perceptions. The press are only just starting now to really go heavily on legal migration as opposed to what they call incorrectly illegal migration. And as it starts to become a bigger issue again, it will start to be a bigger public issue again.
