The Master Clock in the Brain

Every cell in the body has this molecular clock. It acts as a bit like the conductor of an orchestra, and producing a regular temporal beat. The most important factore is the dawn dusk cycle. And in all mammals, including us, its receptors in the eye. But it's not the visual cells that are providing us with our image of the world. We discover that there's a third photo system, a third light detecting system which sets the internal clock to the external world.
