How to Evaluate Horizontal Business SaaS Applications
We've probably only made one or two horizontal software investments. We always ask ourselves in the horizontal space, why would not one of those three companies build it out? I think Slack's been a pretty good example of business. It's been reasonably resilient now for 10 years. Really they have a pretty easy competitive set because Google has never really tried very hard on real time chat and Microsoft Suite has its own problems. There's just people that are forced to use it by their company.
