How I Learned to Calligraphy at Sun Life
I was a switchboard operator in Great Britain. That was my job. I worked a lot on the emergency because I was fast and we had a thing called ACS, which is accuracy, courtesy and speed. And so it was a piece of cake for me. It was a part-time job and I was paid in cash by my boss, Joe Gray. He paid me in cash every week and it was enough to buy all our groceries. So it wasn't a fortune and I stayed on the switchboard for a while until one day I was asked if I would like to go because of my handwriting.
