Grinky Knows When He's Being Funny

So many of these stories are laugh at loud funny, I think to readers and also probably to the people telling them how often do you think Grinky is funny on purpose? I mean, is he trying to be funny ever or is he just inherently amusing to many people because of the differences between him and the typical person or player? I think he's probably unintentionally funny a lot just because of his personality and he just doesn't care and that's kind of an amazing rare quality.
