Is There a Food System Approach?
No one shoe fits all solution is possible. Minimum support prices, some procurement for indias nutritian security requirements will need to be a combination of minimum support prices and market forces. We seem to be food secure because people in the country cannot afford a nutritious meal when demand for food goes up as the economy improves. I think we we are in som for some really tough times, and the government is not prepared for it. And er i think those skill sets don't exist in the country, and they need to be developed.
