How to Create Tension in a Movie

The biggest driver of tension in a movie is usually it really comes from the log line. Within scenes or before you set that up there's usually other forms of tension that drive the story. You can have five, six different types of stakes happening all at once. There are many more than the list I just listed but those core ones are really really helpful.
