The Benefits of Playing Games

There's been a lot of research looking at why people play games and this idea of, you know, well, it helps me relax. And I think also potentially one advantage that it does have over things like team sports is that it's going to be a lot easier to fit in. So if you have half an hour or 45 minutes, you can play some games. It sounds like they do have the potential to do a lot of good there and help people recover from stress. There's definitely a lot of converging research at the moment that suggests that video games can satisfy those criteria.
