Yemen Conflict - A Brief History

In April, the UN brokered a two-month truce between the warring parties that was to start with the holy month of Ramadan for Muslims. The Houthis reach an agreement with the United Nations to address the issue of an abandoned oil tanker in the Red Sea on March 6. On same day, Saudi Arabia announces the secession of all military operations in Yemen as of March 30th of this year. In August of this year, the head of Yemen's presidential leadership council, Roshad Alalami, he ordered the UAE back separatists to stop military ops in Yemen's south.
