How Many Referees Are in the NBA?

At some level, everyone who's refering, regardless o a final for or just beginning it, has crossed their mind an you're thinking about it. I wouldn't be surprised if more than two or three people get hired. The amount of resources and input into training of an official is a pretty high cost. And we're pretty, contrary to popular opinion, pretty effective, all of us.
