A viable and potentially profitable robot taxi service requires that the vehicles aren't just safe, but they're also comfortable. So if you have a very safe vehicle, it's uncomfortable, nobody's riding it. If you're a comfortable vehicle that has crashes, no one's going to ride that either. And then you need to have goodwill.
