How to Have a Smooth P&L
The Betfair Exchange isn't a house that sets the odds, it's betting at its purest. One of the tricks I think to having a smooth P&L is to do as many markets as you possibly can. The most important thing is ensuring that you have an edge of some sort because if you do have that you can trade more markets and your P&L becomes a little bit smoother. But on an individual basis it will bump up and down quite a bit but the more markets you do that begins to smooth and even it out.
