The Long Arm of the UAE
Al-Aamathi's lawyers have filed complaints or requests for investigation with some UN working groups. I've heard through his lawyers that his family are, as you can imagine, quite distressed. His friends are shocked by what has happened to him. But there's also this sense that it's just a reminder of the long arm of the UAE and what the UAE is willing to do to get people back that it wants.
