The idea of take from the rich back fired on the very people who voted it in. Every time people try to punish the rich, the rich don't simply comply but react. Average amer ans to day work five to six months for the government before they make enough to cover their taxes. This is why i cringe every time I hear a parent advise their children to go to school so they can find a safe, secure job. An employee with a safe,secure job without financial aptitude has no escape.
