How to Price Your Work Consistently
When you're selling your work through galleries, that feels really painful because you lose a lot. You have to think about it that when you sell work direct you've also earned that other 50%. I accept that there are going to be some paintings that I am going to get more of a financial return for than others. But keeping a consistent record is the most important thing in terms of how you price your work. The one that I had in London definitely wasn't enough,. Because when it sold, it felt okay when I submitted it, the price but when it sales, I felt like, yeah, I'd have rather not sold that as I didn't judge enough.
