The time spent researching the issues to make an informed decision could be better spent on just about anything else that benefits you or your community. Not everyone I think reads hard and learns a lot about the issues because the order they put the names on the ballot show that if your name is on the ballot first, you get a lot more votes in second. "I actually don't even know who my representative is in the House of Representatives for sure," he says.
