The New Evangelization of St. Juniper's Missions
The city of Los Angeles, for example, was named after the first mission St. Juniper started there. And then San Francisco, obviously, is named after St. Francis and Catholic saints. He wanted the missions to be self-sufficient, to be able to fund themselves so that they could grow and expand. So it's like that fertile ground has spread into these major metropolitan areas.
