I'm Not Worthy of This, Father!

I saw this all the time, is every kid at the seminary with an authentic vocation. They'd come to me as aas a spiritual director or as the rector and say, father, i'm just not worthy of this. And my response invariably was, well, of course you're notm not worthy of it either. But i would direct them, usually to this story. That means grace has broken in your life, and you've acknowledged that,.You've direc ed your life more toward the light, and therefore youare more, not less, aware of your sin. You know, everybody as an important corrective here.
