The minutes of a meeting are the notes describing what happened in the meeting. They're usually written down by hand and then typed up. To delegate something is basically to give someone a responsibility. Tidious just means boring. It's really tedious. You've got dull, boring and tedious, nice synonyms there. Don't just use boring all the time. For example, I don't know if you have to go to the post office and there's a huge queue. Having to stand in this queue. And for my mum writing up the minutes of a meetings, it's a tedious job. Nobody really wants to do it but someone has to do it. We also have the expression to
