How to Start a Short Film Project

Keep the crew small. I don't like to really have more than like 20, 25 crew members. There is something in this because we've looking at all the shorts that were all made under 10 grand with smaller crews. And I don't know what it is, but they seem to have done the best. Maybe that's fluke. That's about four or five now. They're small budget, they're small crew. And they're getting into these big festivals. It's like, well, the festivals aren't even seeing that. You know what I mean? Yeah, totally. So I think there is something in keeping it a little bit contained.
