Foreclosure Start Activity Is Back to Normal in 2019

In prior cycles, typically lenders would wind up repossessing a very high percentage of properties that entered foreclosure. In today's market, 92% of the borrowers who are currently in foreclosure actually have positive equity in their homes. There is no reason on God's Green Earth why these people should ever lose their home when they have more than 75% equity. And for investors, the opportunity here is to reach out and work out a win-win deal where you're able to buy property for a little bit below auction value but also avoid losing all their equity to a foreclosure sale.
