The Ark of the Lord Was Lodged at Karyath Jareem
The men of bet Chemesh offered burnt offerings and sacrifices on that day to the Lord. And when the five lords of the Philistines saw it, they returned that day to Echron. The great stone, besides which they set down the ark of the Lord, is a witness to this day in the field of Joshua of Bet Chemesh. So Israel put away the baals and the ashtrath, and they served the Lord only.
