Are You More Open-Minded?

One of my goals, i have actually written down in my prayer journal, is i'm praying to be more open minded. And you would think at that would be the op of faith, but what i find is, in some strange way, it actually deepens my faith. I don't know how that's working, but it nuances it in a way that it seems to hopefully keep getting healthier. Do you think that's what can happen if you are open minded? Or do you just end up like a wash on the ocean, kind of adrift? What are your thoughts on that?
