But one of the big reasons we don't grow more of it is there are regulatory issues here in the west, especially in europe and in the us. There's a wide number of njust rouses for seaweed as well. Hydrocoles are extracted from seaweed and are used and everything from tooth paste threofecan substitutes as a thickening agent.
