The Nine Cells of a Three by Three Table
In a three by three table, there are nine cells: noun phrases, predicates, for verbs, and modifiers or attribute of constructions. If you want to make your language look like human languages, the other six can be expressed in different ways. The non-canonical ones tend to get like extra things put on. And that would make your language sort of fit somewhere in the space of a test of human languages.
