How to Choose the Right Trees for Your Farm
When we, the first 10 years, I probably as a young forest, I wanted to see trees grow quickly. What I'm leading to is then we hit the millennium drought. And those trees are the ones that suffered the most. So what I started with is not what I'm doing now. That reflects the changes of climate change. It certainly has been a 1.4 degree temperature increase just in the period we've been on the farm. We've seen our native blackwood and mannegaum dying in the forest.
