Do You Think Your Dad Affects Your Teaching Style?
I have quite a feminine temperament, and so i'm probably more agreeable than my wife. I don't know if my dad's teaching style overtly affected me. But i think all the interactions he had with me when he was teaching me to read did. His attitude towards learning did. And his fundamental sense of encouragement, like i always knew. Even when he was displeased with me, it was almost always, you know, barring human frailty,. because he was disappointed that i wasn't living up to the high standards he expected of me.
