The director of the film was an old New York scene star who had been a member of Andy Warhol's factory crew. Jimi Hendrix thought this director Chuck was kind of a bozo and he just says that and threw out. The documentary is kind of this time capsule, a real time capsule, but it was also pure improv because most documentaries should be scripted.
