For the Cartesians, there are three existing things. Body exists as Solidity, Mobility, Extension, and Substance. Mind exists as understanding will judgment. God exists as Omnipotent and Omniscient. John Locke says mind body interaction is absolutely not mysterious. It is merely like the causal relations between body and body.
