The 32 Democrats Are on the Idea of Negotiating a Budget

If the debt ceiling bill passes, I don't see otherwise can sustainably continue to say they need a budget. The White House would like them to produce that because separately from all this Republicans have pledged to renew the Trump-era tax cuts. And if the budget comes out and reflects that, they can say, look, these are deficit hawks. They're trying to cut Medicaid benefits in order to give a tax break to the rich.
