Ethereum - What's the Difference?

The interest rate depends on how many of the holders of Ethereum are staking. If very few people are staking and everyone else is just spending their money in a circle, then you're going to get a higher interest rate. The rewards are a fixed number; so you're taking a rewards of 100 and you're dividing it by one person or 10 people or 100 people. And that's going to get you different amounts of return.
