The Perma Weird

Venkatesh: The Perma Weird is my term for this sort of interregnum liminal passage place between 2015 to about 2020. I came up with this term, Perma weird, as a term to describe what happens when you actually get adapted to the general condition of weirdness. It's kind of like the subjective subconscious attunement to the advent of the Anthropocene. And we each kind of like approach it in our own way. That's what the essay I wrote last week was about.
